Telco Cloud Product Owner

Job Summary

We are looking for a technically-minded Product Owner to lead the development of our AI-enabled cloud orchestration platform for telco environments. The ideal candidate understands both telecom service management and cloud-native ecosystems, and is capable of translating high-level goals into clear, actionable product roadmaps and backlogs.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams — architecture, development, DevOps, QA — to drive the delivery of a scalable, intelligent orchestration platform integrated with multi-vendor OSS/BSS systems, and supporting next-gen services (VNF, CNF) across hybrid infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for our orchestration and automation platform.
• Translate high-level business needs and telco operational workflows into clearly defined user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical risk, and feedback from stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Development, DevOps, and Test teams to ensure successful and timely delivery.
• Align product development with integration targets, including OSS/BSS, cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, OpenShift, Kubernetes), and AI/ML pipelines.
• Define and track product KPIs and ensure consistent delivery of customer value.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends in cloud-native orchestration, zero-touch networking, and telecom automation.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, or technical project management, preferably in the telecom or cloud domain.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure technologies (OpenStack, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Experience working on or with orchestration platforms in telecom or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ETSI NFV/MANO, VNF/CNF lifecycle, and OSS/BSS systems integration.
• Strong ability to write clear, concise, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to manage complex technical products and prioritize competing demands effectively.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in engineering or software development.
• Prior experience with zero-touch automation platforms or frameworks (e.g., ONAP).
• Familiarity with databases (relational and NoSQL), event-driven design (Kafka), and API-based system integrations.
